Well what a weekend, lots of sunshine and it was hot, hot, hot. I can probably guarantee two things you did this weekend, smiled a lot and got your bodies out……. Eek after a winter of keeping them totally covered.
It is funny because if we are going on our summer holidays, we buff and prepare our bodies in readiness, however, when it comes to the sun coming out at home…… have we buffed and prepared our bodies nooooo.
So today having spent our last few weeks being mindful of our food, our thoughts and our yoga. Today let’s be mindful that summer is really just around the corner, lets moisturise our bodies inside and out making sure that we drink plenty of hydrating liquids and moisturise, moisturise, moisturise after each shower or bath.
This will have a twofold effect, firstly, next time when you are stretching out in yoga and you are looking at your legs or arms, you will know it was worth the effort and secondly, when the next heatwave arrives we will look just fabulous.
