Last week we talked about mindfulness and self love, but what about the way we treat our bodies. Do we treat them like the person we would like to be?
To go into summer strong we need to be mindful of our bodies, how they move, how they feel and to do this, it is my belief that a 15 minute practice of yoga every day will help control weight, sanity and make us strong.
Each morning spend a few moments deep breathing to calm the mind and fill your lungs. Then choose a flow that energises and rejuvenates you for the day. You may choose to work on twists or stretches so alternate your workouts. Listen to your body and recognise what it needs from you today. Do your muscles feel sore? Do you feel tight and need to stretch out? Use these thoughts to guide you through your morning practice. In turn this will align, strengthen and prepare your body for the summer.
