The final pose when we finish our practice is the shoulder stand, as an inversion pose is always good at the end of your practice. But what are the benefits of a shoulder stand?
It relaxes the mind and improves circulation to the upper body and brain, as gravity is sending more blood to your head which means more oxygen and nutrition, making your mind sharper and more refreshed. It improves digestion and builds a stronger immune system again due to the blood flow and gravity of the position. Finally in addition to any internal benefits it strengthens your neck, upper back and shoulders.
I could go on with the benefits of this pose and practiced daily it is just great for your mind and body.
